       Health Office Reminders

All incoming 6th graders who have reached the age of 11 years will need a Tdap booster and Meningococcal vaccine by the first day of school.

Medications, including over-the-counter medications, will be administered only with a written order from a licensed physician and written request from the parent

Keep your child home if he/she:

  • has a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more  – your child must be fever free for 24 hours before he/she can return to school
  • has a persistent cough and/or excessive nasal discharge
  • is vomiting and/or has diarrhea
  • has an undiagnosed rash

A doctor’s note is required for your child to return to school if he/she was injured outside of school hours and is using crutches or wearing an orthopedic assistive device (eg. walking boot).

Update your child’s health status as needed.

Keep emergency contact information current.
